Troopers were called to the scene of a single vehicle accident at 11:07 p.m. on Thursday, September 12. When troopers arrived they discovered a white Ford F-150 off Mattawoman/Beantown Rd. just north of Substation Rd. The truck had rolled onto the drivers side. The 50 year-old La Plata male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics. Name withheld.
